To “Have It All” there seem to be
3 requirements.

1. Self-Discovery.

Who is the key resource for your business? Why, you are! Wouldn’t it make sense to know everything possible about the skills and limitations of that key person? One of the ways small businesses go down is when the leader runs out of time doing everything himself.
Sun Tzu, author of the Art of War, had this to say about self-discovery
"Know the other and know yourself;
One hundred challenges without danger;
Know not the other and yet know yourself;
One triumph for one defeat;
Know not the other and know not yourself;
Every challenge is certain peril."

2. A Vision.

You need a picture of how your business will look if you’re amazingly successful. It’s the star you and your other employees will follow. Many small businesses who come to me aren’t clear how they will change the world – yet that’s exactly what the great entrepreneurs do. Would you like to take a shot at being a great entrepreneur? Then take on a great vision. Does that sound intimidating? We could talk.

3. Action!

You need a mission – a description of the actions you will take in pursuit of your vision. Learn how to set goals, what S.M.A.R.T. goals are, how to get the most value from success, and from failure. Get clear on what are the next steps, and just exactly when you will take them. Also, get clear on what the obstacles are, and what limiting beliefs could keep you from surmounting them. more...
